What is Styla Frontend

Styla Frontend is the 'head' for a 'headless' e-commerce store. In other words, its engine delivers all pages of a Storefront with its embedded CMS.

In order to do this, Styla uses data from your BigCommerce Store to automatically generate category and product detail pages and interacts with BigCommerce application’s API in the background to manage users, their baskets, payments and checkouts.

Styla Frontend comes with a Content Editor that lets you publish and manage the content of your online store.

Installation Guide

Prerequisites

This document is a guide for installing the Styla Frontend app on an existing BigCommerce store.

To complete this installation, it is necessary to have a BigCommerce store and access to its Control panel.

Note: The Styla Frontend app is compatible with all BigCommerce licenses

 

Step 1: Install the app

1. Visit the BigCommerce Marketplace and find the Styla Frontend app.

2. Click on the button "Get this app".

   Note: only store owners can install the app

3. Allow access to the permissions required for the app.

4. App successfully installed.

Step 2: Complete your profile to access to the Editor

1. Check your email. You should have received an email with a link to set your password. If you haven’t received anything, please check your spam folder.

2. Set your password.

3. Profile completed.

Step 3: Login into the Editor

1. Use your email and password to login into the Editor
