More variant control

Description

Merchants can decide whether a variant should be selected by default or not when a shopper visits the product detail page. 

Benefits

• More control over displaying variant images 
• The first variant can be selected on default
• Variant images can be appended to the gallery

Activation & Requirements

All product variants should have their own images and should be connected to the main product. When these requirements are fulfilled, follow these steps, to dis-/enable the variant options: 

1. Go to Products
   
   
   
2. Edit the Single Product Tile 
   
   
3. Go into Settings Tab and de(-activate) the switches: 
   
   
   
   
   • When Auto-select variant
     • is enabled: the first variant will be selected on default when a shopper visits a product detail page
     • is disabled: no variant will be selected on default and the first image will show on product detail pages
   • When Append variant images to gallery
     • is enabled: the corresponding variant image in the thumbnails will be highlighted as active
     • is disabled: the corresponding variant image will be loaded and placed as the first image
